Before you start using any peptide, you need to familiarize yourself with how to dilute the product. Most often, bacteriostatic water is used for this purpose. Regardless of the purpose of the substance, you need to prepare a suitable solution. How to do it? We suggest in the article.
What is bacteriostatic water?
At the outset, it is worth explaining what is bacteriostatic water? It is a substance used in pharmacology, to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and most bacteria. It consists of sterile water and and 0.9% benzyl alcohol solution. The solvent prepared in this way is ideal for preventing bacteria from multiplying in the preparation. Keep in mind that this water does not kill existing microorganisms, but only prevents their multiplication.
Is peptide dilution necessary and why should it be done?
The dilution of peptides using bacteriostatic water has key advantages, which include:
- The presence of a substance that has microbial-destroying properties,
- greater resistance of the diluted substance, providing a longer shelf life,
- Diluted peptides are better absorbed by the body,
- No side effects or contraindications to use.
How to make up the solution for injection?
If one wishes to take peptides by injection, one should prepare the solution accordingly. Typically, peptides are obtained in the form of a powder sterilely sealed in a vial. Therefore, it is necessary to have a solvent that will allow one to administer, for example, bpc 157 in a proper manner. To create the solution will be necessary:
- Bacteriostatic water for injection,
- A 1-ml insulin tube,
- Swabs and disinfectant,
- A needle with a length of at least 25 mm and a diameter of 0.5 mm
- powder package.
To begin with, we unlock the powder vial and disinfect its top with a cotton swab and disinfectant. Then we mount the needle on the syringe and use it to draw 1 ml of water and inject the solvent into the powder vial. We repeat the operation 3 times so that there is 3 ml of liquid in the bottle. Then remove the needle and check whether the powder dissolves properly. If the powder has not completely dissolved and settles on the walls -. under no circumstances shake the bottle! In this case, roll the bottle in both hands. Also, do not apply the product immediately. It is best if you wait about 30-40 minutes.
How do you dilute the peptides into an atomizer?
If you want to dilute the substance that will be introduced intranasally, you should prepare:
- saline,
- funnel,
- A vial of powder.
The process looks much simpler than the previous one. It differs only in the diluting substance. First, unscrew the saline bottle and the powder vial. Place a funnel on the powder vial to pour the saline accurately. Cap the peptide vial and mix very carefully. No sudden movements! Again, turn the vial gently in your hands and observe whether the substance has fully dissolved. Then mount the atomizer.
How to store peptides?
How long peptides can be stored depends on whether we have already diluted our product or if it is still in powder form.
According to available data, storage of peptides in dry form should be done:
- 30 to 40 days at room temperature,
- 90 to 120 days at 2-8 degrees Celsius,
- Up to 2 years at -20 degrees Celsius,
Storage of peptides in diluted form:
- 30 to 40 days in the refrigerator,
- 1 to 5 days out of the refrigerator.
