How do you pitch peptides? Proven tips

Before using any peptide, you need to familiarise yourself with how to dilute the product. Most commonly, bacteriostatic water is used for this purpose. Regardless of the intended use of the substance, a suitable solution must be prepared. How do you do this? We suggest in the article.

What is bacteriostatic water?

At the outset, it is worth clarifying what is Bacteriostatic water? It is a substance used in pharmacology, to inhibit the growth of microorganisms and most bacteria. It consists of sterile water and and 0.9% benzyl alcohol solution. The solvent prepared in this way is ideally suited to prevent the proliferation of bacteria in the preparation. It should be borne in mind that this water does not kill existing microorganisms, but only prevents their proliferation.

Is peptide dilution necessary and why should it be done?

Peptide blending using bacteriostatic water has key advantages, which include:

  • the presence of a substance with antimicrobial properties,
  • greater resistance of the diluted substance, giving it a longer shelf life,
  • diluted peptides are better absorbed by the body,
  • no side effects or contraindications to use.

How do I mix the injection solution?

If one wishes to take peptides by injection, the solution should be prepared accordingly. Usually, peptides are obtained as a powder sterilely encapsulated in a vial. Therefore, it is necessary to have a solvent to administer e.g. bpc 157 in an appropriate manner. In order to create the solution it will be necessary:

To begin with, the powder vial must be unlocked and the top disinfected with a cotton swab and disinfectant. The needle is then mounted on a syringe and 1 ml of water is drawn with it and the solvent injected into the powder vial. We repeat the operation 3 times so that there is 3 ml of liquid in the bottle. Then remove the needle and check that the powder dissolves properly. If the powder has not completely dissolved and is settling on the walls - the needle should be removed. under no circumstances shake the bottle! In this case, roll the bottle in both hands. Also, do not apply the product immediately. It is best if you wait about 30-40 minutes.

How do you dilute peptides into an atomiser?

If you want to dilute a substance to be introduced intranasally, you should prepare:

  • saline,
  • funnel,
  • a vial of powder.

The process looks much simpler than the previous one. Only the diluting substance differs. To begin, unscrew the saline bottle and the powder vial. Place a funnel on the powder vial to pour the saline accurately. Cap the peptide vial and mix very carefully. No sudden movements! Again, turn the vial gently in your hands and check that the substance has fully dissolved. Then mount the atomiser.

How to store peptides?

How long peptides can be stored depends on whether we have already blended our product or whether it is still in powder form.

According to the available data, storage of peptides in dry form should take place:

  • 30 to 40 days at room temperature,
  • 90 to 120 days at 2-8 degrees Celsius,
  • up to 2 years at -20 degrees Celsius,

Storage of peptides in diluted form:

  • 30 to 40 days in the refrigerator,
  • 1 to 5 days out of the fridge.
